Let there be light (יהי אור) ~ ihi or ... Fiat Lux

Seek ye YAHAWAH while He may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near:

... YESHA'YAHU (ISAIAH) 55:6

Thus says YAHAWAH, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the ancient paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

... YIRMEYAHU (JEREMIAH) 6:16

But seek ye first the Kingdom of YAHAWAH, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

... MATTITHYAHU (MATTHEW) 6:33

What are the Feasts of YAHAWAH?

There are 7 special Feasts or Feast dasy or Appointed Times of YAHAWAH ELOHAYNU given to mankind. They also called:

Seasons::Moed/Moedim::Holy Convocations/Rehearsals::Appointments/Appointed Times.

They are the Feasts/Feast days or Seasons of YAHAWAH (not Winter/Spring/Summer/Fall)

*** ... Sukkot is also called Feast of Booths

These feasts are 1st mentioned in Leviticus 23 (but it is believed that they were celebrated even earlier that the 1st mention in Leviticus).

Also mentioned in

Exodus; Numbers; Deuteronomy; Psalms; Ezekiel; Jeremiah; 1 Chronicles; Matthew; Mark; Luke;  Acts; 1 Thessalonians; Colossians;

The 7th day of the week is the Sabbath day (Yom HaShabbat) or the called the weekly Sabbath.

And ELOHIYM said, Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for appointed feasts, and for days, and years:

... BERE'SHIYTH (GENESIS) 1:14

He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knows his going down.

... TEHILLIYM (PSALMS) 104:19

'He made the moon also to serve in her season for a declaration of times, and a sign of the world. 'From the moon is the sign of feasts, a light that decreases in her perfection. The month is called after her name, increasing wonderfully in her changing, being an instrument of the armies above, shining in the expanse of heaven;

... SIRACH (ECCLESIASTICUS) 43:6-8

The Spring Feasts (Barley Harvest) ...

Feast of Passover               (Pesach)

The 7th day of Sukkot is the Hoshana Rabbah

The 8th day, the 1st day after Sukkot, is a new beginning (Shmini Atzeret)

Shavu'ot ~ The same day that:

... Noah received a Covenant

... Issac was born

... Mosheh/Moses received the TORAH

... Pentecost took place

The Fulfilled Spring Feasts (Barley Harvest) ...

Then a new beginning commences ...

Exodus 6 vs 6 - 7 ... 4 Cups:

1. Cup of Separation ... "I shall bring you out"

2. Cup of Deliverance ... "and shall deliver you"

3. Cup of Redemption ... "and shall redeem you"

4. Cup of Acceptance ... "and shall take you as my people"

Wherefore say unto the children of Yashar'el, I am YAHAWAH, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Mitsriym, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments: And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you ELOHIYM: and ye shall know that I am YAHAWAH ELOHAYKEM, which brings you out from under the burdens of the Mitsriym.

... SHEMOTH (EXODUS) 6:6-7

3 Pilgrimages:

Hag HaKatzir ... Feast of Unleaven Bread

Hag HaShavuot ... Feast of Weeks

Hag HaSukkot ... Feast of Tabernacles

Hag means Pilgrimage

Contrary Beliefs/Errors:

Used to support Sunday as Sabbath ... a futile effort:

*Acts 20 vs 6 - 7 ... Breaking of bread on 1st day of the week reference is used by the catholic church as the evidence for Sunday being the new Sabbath. Even though the Feast of Unleaven Bread is mentioned prior. See Leviticus 23 vs 4 - 6 & 15 - 16

But

*Acts 20 vs 7 ... Mia ton Sabbaton means 'one of the Sabbaths' not 1st day of the week

---> Acts 2 vs 46 ... Breaking bread was a daily event » weak support

Acts 13 vs 42 - 44 ... Sabbath

Acts 17 vs 2 ... Sabbath

Acts 18 vs 4, 11 ...Sabbath

The Disciples kept the Sabbath 85 times in the Book of Acts***

... this is completely separate from YAHAWAHSHAH & Paul

*1 Corinthians 16 vs 1 - 2 ... No collection on Sabbath not Sunday service collection

*John 20 vs 19 ... Resurrection day (1st day of the week evening)

Matthew 24 vs 20 ... Sabbath

Luke 23 vs 56 ... Sabbath

*Revelation 1 vs 10 ...

Isaiah 58 vs 13 ... YAHAWAH's Day or Day of YAHAWAH

Day of YAHAWAH: References ***

But

John 14 vs 15 ... If you love me, obey my Commandments

1 John 2 vs 6 ... If you profess to be in MASHIACH, let it show in your daily life

Galatians 4 vs 8 - 10 ... You are not saved by following the law so don't go back to pagan observances of pagan days, months, seasons and years.

Colossians 2 vs 16 ... Let no one judge you for keeping the Sabbath

Colossians 2 vs 17 ... shadow of the fall feasts yet to come

Colossians 2 vs 8 ... Don't be swayed by philosophies and traditions of men (gnostics)

Colossians 2 vs 20 - 22 ... Traditions of men and ordinances

The 4th Commandment:

Shabbat (שבת)/Sabbath = The 7th day of rest ... a day set aside/sanctified by YAHAWAH

... Shabbat is derived from the root words of shin + bet (שב) which means 'return' and from the tav (ת) which refers to the Covenant ... so Shabbat is a call for us to return to YAHAWAH and His Covenant of rest

Guard the day of the Shabbath; to sanctify it as YAHAWAH ELOHAYKA  has commanded you. Six days you shall labour, and do all your work: But the seventh day is the Shabbath of YAHAWAH ELOHAYKA: in it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your ox, nor your ass, nor any of your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates; that your manservant and your maidservant may rest as well as you. And remember that you were a servant in the land of Mitsrayim, and that YAHAWAH ELOHAYKA brought you out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore YAHAWAH ELOHAYKA commanded you to observe the day of Shabbath.

... DEVARIYM (DEUTERONOMY) 5:12-15

Note:

Keeping the law and Sabbath does not save you ... but once saved ... Then you keep the Law or TORAH ... You keep the Sabbath in obedience to YAHAWAHSHAH's Word

Galatians 5 vs 4 ... The law justifies no man but it severs you from MASHIACH

Keeping the Feasts according to Apostle Paul:

Acts 18 vs 21 ... But bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that cometh in Jerusalem: but I will return again unto you, if God will. And he sailed from.

1 Corinthians 5 vs 8 ... Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

1 Thessalonians 5 vs 1 - 11... But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you ... etc

Yom Teruah is also called the day of blowing, the day of the Awakening Blast and the time of Jacob's trouble

... as well as:

Yom HaDin -> The Day of Judgement/Opening of the Books or Gates

Yom HaKeseh -> The Hidden day

Yom HaKiddushin -> The Wedding of the Messiah

Yom Ha'Melek -> The Coronation of the King our Messiah

They shall therefore guard את eth-my ordinance, lest they bear sin for it, and die therefore, if they profane it: I YAHAWAH do sanctify them.

... VAYIQRA (LEVITICUS) 22:9

Count of references to ordinances in the Bible:

19 mentions of  ordinance/ordinances in the TORAH (5 Books of Mosheh) and 47 times as a whole in the Old Testament.

The New Testament mentioned ordinance/ordinances 6 times.

The canonized Bible mentions ordinance/ordinances 53 times.

Apocryphal Books mention ordinance/ordinances 41 times.

The Scriptures as a whole (Canonized & Apocryphal) mention ordinance/ordinances 94 times in total.

So to those who see to be obedient yet free from the burden of ordinances, all ordinances under Ha'Torah are done away with but Ha'Moediym remain.

Shalom
