Now!!
Here are a few thought provoking questions to get one's mind right and to make one step away from oneself, momentarily, to ponder truth.
A. Do you know the true Name of our Heavenly ABBA? Do you?!! Or do you only know the Names associated with His numerous attributes?
B. Do you know His True Name or are you only familiar with the names that the world has been circulating since the 14th or 15th centuries.
C. Have you sought out the truth for yourself? Hmmm? Tell me!
Who has ascended up into heaven, or descended? Who has gathered the wind in his fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is His Son's name, if you can tell? ... Proverbs 30:4
The Almighty Creator of all things does have an actual personal name.
So, again, I ask ... Have you sought out the truth for yourself? Have you done so or have you blindly accepted whatever things you have been told from your youth and believed what has been handed down to you through the years?
... the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit ... a portion of Jeremiah 16 vs 19
Be weary of what you have been told and what you have accepted as truth. Search the scriptures for yourself and study to be enlightened just as 2 Timothy 2 vs 15 says, then in turn enlighten others. Perhaps, then, you will understand what Jeremiah 16 vs 19 really means.
Was ABBA's Name hidden or was His Name given to us?
Throughout the scriptures, our ABBA b'HaShamayim (ABBA in Heaven), has declared His true Name to His people!!!**
If ABBA freely gave us His true Name, why do we not call on His true Name?! Also why does the world not know the true name of His Son?!
Could it be that ... just as Proverbs 30:4 inquires "What is His name, and what is His Son's name, if you can tell?" ... ABBA expects us to know His true Name since He has told us His Name many times before?!
What was the name that was given to His people?
Consider then that just 5 verses later, just like many many other scriptures, Proverbs 30:9 displays ABBA's true Name (when read from the original manuscripts). In fact, this ninth verse puts forth a question & also a declaration of ABBA's true Name ...
His Name is יהוה (pronounced YAHAWAH). Some other versions or depictions of YHWH (יהוה) or the TETRAGRAMMATON, that have been used over the years to denote ABBA's Name are:
YHVH
Yahuah
Yahueh
Yahweh
Yahveh
Yehovah
Yahovah
Yahuwah
Yehowah
Yahowah
Yahoweh
Yehawah
YAHAWAH (personal preference)
Vividly evident, throughout the scriptures, it is seen that ABBA encourages us to diligently seek out and call upon His Name, יהוה (YAHAWAH), the true Name of our Loving Heavenly ABBA.
So ABBA's Name was not hidden. Not originally. NO! It was given to His people openly & freely numerous numerous times.
Other names found inthe Bible that ABBA has been identified by are:
EL (GOD) ... אל
=> singular form used 230 times
ELOAH (GOD) ... אלה
=> dual form used 70 times
ELOHIYM (GOD) ... אלהים
=> plural form of 3 or more used 260 times
But ...
... ABBA's personal name is
YAHAWAH (I AM THAT I AM) or EHYEH ASHER EHYEH ... יהוה
=> personal name used 6500 times
So with ABBA's Name being found 6500 times, this confirms that truly truly ABBA's true Name has been declared to us throughout the Scriptures.**
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of יהוה shall be delivered: for in Mount Tsiyon (Zion) and in Yerushalayim (Jerusalem) shall be deliverance, as יהוה has said, and in the remnant whom יהוה shall call. ... Joel 2:32
A brief tangent:
An interesting nugget, from Genesis 1 vs 1, the restored scriptures say:
In beginning, ELOHIYM created ha'Shamayim (the Heavens) and h'aretz (the earth).
Later in the Torah, the verses in Isaiah 45 vs 18 - 22 show ABBA YAHAWAH declaring that He created ha'Shamayim and h'aretz. This is seen in Isaiah 66 vs 1 - 2 and in many others scriptures likewise. A key note to grasp in the Isaiah 45 verses, ABBA YAHAWAH states His Name clearly.
So by this declaration, we know who our Creator is and we know His Name.
Now, back to the interesting nugget in Genesis 1 vs 1, by examining the very 1st Hebrew word in the Torah (the word בראשית (Bere'Shiyth) meaning "In beginning"), with the understanding of PARDES,** using the Gematria method, one finds the word בראשית (Bere'Shiyth) translated as:~
"The Son of EL will be destroyed by His Hand on the cross" (paraphrased)
**PARDES = P'Shat, Remez, D'Rash & Sod ... the various levels of understanding Torah portions of scripture.
Then when one goes further to consider the following scripture verse:
Remember the former things of old: for I am EL, and there is none else; I am ELOHIYM, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: ... Isaiah 46 vs 9 - 10
One finds that the promise of Ha'MASHIACH (The MESSIAH) was indeed foretold from the beginning, hence revealing the true essence of Ha'Besorah (the Gospel) being declared by ABBA from the very beginning.
Oh! And on a side note, by the way, Proverbs 30 vs 4 asks what IS YAHAWAH's Son's Name?*
His Name is יהושע pronounced ... YAHAWAHSHAH or Yahusha or Yeshua or Yehoshua (by different dialects perhaps), but His Name is not Jesus.
One sees that יהושע המשיח (YAHAWAHSHAH HaMASHIACH) was declared from the very beginning, by YAHAWAH, via the narration of His works in the creation story.
He is את!!! (Aleph Taw) ... also identified as Alpha Omega or Beginning-End/First-Last
Anyway ... That is a discussion topic for another time.
Now back to the lecture at hand ... So what happened?
The Great Swap
The Name יהוה, which is called the Tetragrammaton, was and is considered to be extremely sacred. So originally, out of human desire to show reverence to ABBA and to His Name, Hebrew scribes/scholars replaced ABBA's Name with HaShem (The Name) to prevent the Name from being carelessly uttered during discussions and Adonai (My Prince) during prayers. Later on these substitutes were eventually replaced by the word Lord (with the capital letter 'L').
In the ... the term 'Lord' or 'The Lord' became the new word used in the scriptures as a substitute to the original name text of יהוה, by the translators of the scriptures, as some odd or contrived form of reverence for ABBA's Name. This was done by the translators who were following the initial 'HaShem' replacement, of ABBA's Name, that had been recorded, centuries earlier, by the Hebrew scribes/scholars.
Now, for the record, our Heavenly ABBA's Name is not Lord, as many unfortunately, have grown up to believe.
... or was the reason for this substitution more sinister?
NB:
A very chilling yet interesting fact is that the word 'Lord' translated in Hebrew actually means ba'al (Yep!! You read that right!!).
I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed. How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart; Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbor, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal. ... Jeremiah 23 vs 25 - 27
ABBA's Name is not lord or Lord. Search the scriptures thoroughly and this will become quite evident.
The Tetragrammaton
The Name יהוה, identified as the Tetragrammaton, are the 4 letters Yodh Heh Waw Heh, of the Hebrew alphabet, that make up the Name of the Creator of the universe (some say Yod Heh Vav Heh). There are many who happen to pronounce ABBA's YHWH Name in other ways, like the example here with the 'Vav' etc., but that will be a topic for a later discussion.
Know this, the 4 letters, typically shown in english lettering or transliterated as YHWH, were and still are considered to be extremely sacred. But the ancient scribes stopped using the YHWH as they deemed it too sacred to utter.
Is that why ABBA's Name was replaced? The scribes switched to using Adonai during prayers and during the Sabbath, then called ABBA, HaShem (The Name) during the rest of the week.
But wait!!! Where did the name Jehovah or Jahovah or Jah come from?
The letter 'J' is a 14th - 15th century construct. Prior to the use of the letter 'J' the Name that was identified was a mix of the Tetragrammaton (modernized with a 'V' instead of 'W') and the vowels from Adonai to form 'YaHoVaH'. Later this morphed into Jahovah and Yah became Jah.
Did ABBA give His Name for us to know Him and call on Him?
Numerous Scriptures reveal to us that our Loving Heavenly Father wants us to know His Name.
Observe the following:
And to Sheth (Seth), to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enosh: then began men to call upon the name of YAHAWAH.

And ELOHIYM said unto El-Mosheh, EHAYAH ASHER EHAYAH: and he said, Thus shall you say unto the children of Yashar’el, EHAYAH has sent me unto you. And ELOHAI said moreover unto El-Mosheh, Thus shall you say unto the children of Yashar'el, YAHAWAH ELOHAI of your fathers, the ELOHIYM of Avraham, the ELOHAI of Yitschaq, and the ELOHAI of Ya`aqov, has sent me unto you: this is my name forever, and this is my mention unto all generations. Go, and gather the elders of Yashar'el together, and say unto them, YAHAWAH ELOHAI of your fathers, the ELOHAI of Avraham, of Yitschaq, and of Ya`aqov, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Mitsrayim: And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Mitsrayim unto the land of the Kena`aniym, and the Chittiym, and the Emoriym, and the Perizziym, and the Chivviym, and the Yevuciym, unto a land flowing with milk and honey. And they shall hearken to your voice: and you shall come, you and the elders of Yashar'el, unto the king of Mitsrayim, and ye shall say unto him, YAHAWAH ELOHAI of the Ivriym has met with us: and now let us go, we beseech you, three days' journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to YAHAWAH ELOHAYNU.

Who has ascended up into heaven, or descended? who has gathered the wind in his fists? who has bound the waters in a garment? who has established all the ends of the earth? what is His name, and what is His Son's name, if you can tell? Every word of ELOAH is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add not unto his words, lest he reprove you, and you be found a liar. Two things have I required of you; deny me them not before I die: Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me: Lest I be full, and deny you, and say, Who is YAHAWAH? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my ELOHIYM in vain.
... MISHLEI (PROVERBS) 30:4-9***
I called upon your name, O YAHAWAH, out of the low dungeon. You have heard my voice: hide not your ear at my breathing, at my cry. You drew near in the day that I called upon you: you said, Fear not.

I YAHAWAH have called you in righteousness, and will hold your hand, and will keep you, and give you for a covenant of the people, for a light of the other nations; To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. I am YAHAWAH: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
... YESHA'YAHU (ISAIAH) 42:6-8
BUT now thus says YAHAWAH that created you, O Ya`aqov, and he that formed you, O Yashar'el, Fear not: for I have redeemed you, I have called you by your name; you are mine.
... YESHA'YAHU (ISAIAH) 43:1
For I am YAHAWAH ELOHAYKA, the Holy One of Yashar'el, your Saviour: I gave Mitsrayim for your ransom, Kush and Ceva for you.
... YESHA'YAHU (ISAIAH) 43:3
Ye are my witnesses, says YAHAWAH, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am He: before me there was no EL formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am YAHAWAH; and beside me there is no saviour. I have declared, and have saved, and I have showed, when there was no strange elohiym among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, says YAHAWAH, that I am EL. Yea, before the day was I am He; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it? Thus says YAHAWAH, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Yashar'el; For your sake I have sent to Babel, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Kasdiym, whose cry is in the ships. I am YAHAWAH, your Holy One, the Creator of Yashar'el, your King.
... YESHA'YAHU (ISAIAH) 43:10-15
Thus says YAHAWAH, your Redeemer, and he that formed you from the womb, I am YAHAWAH that makes all things; that stretches forth the heavens alone; that spreads abroad the earth by myself; ... YESHA'YAHU (ISAIAH) 44:24
And I will give you the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, YAHAWAH, which call you by your name, am the ELOHAI of Yashar'el. For Ya`aqov my servant's sake, and Yashar'el my elect, I have even called you by your name: I have surnamed you, though you have not known me. I am YAHAWAH, and there is none else, there is no ELOHIYM beside me: I girded you, though you have not known me: That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am YAHAWAH, and there is none else. I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I YAHAWAH do all these things. Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth yeshu`ah, and let righteousness spring up together; I YAHAWAH have created it.
... YESHA'YAHU (ISAIAH) 45:3-8
For thus says YAHAWAH that created the heavens; ELOHIYM himself that formed the earth and made it; he has established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am YAHAWAH; and there is none else. I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Ya`aqov, Seek ye me in vain: I YAHAWAH speak righteousness, I declare things that are right. Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto an el that cannot save. Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who has declared this from ancient time? who has told it from that time? have not I YAHAWAH? and there is no ELOHIYM else beside me; a just EL and a Saviour; there is none beside me. Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am EL, and there is none else.
... YESHA'YAHU (ISAIAH) 45:18-22
For thus says YAHAWAH, Ye have sold yourselves for nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money. For thus says ADONAI YAHAWAH, My people went down aforetime into Mitsrayim to sojourn there; and Ashshur oppressed them without cause. Now therefore, what have I here, says YAHAWAH, that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them make them to howl, says YAHAWAH; and my name continually every day is blasphemed. Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that speaks: behold, it is I. How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that brings the Besorah, that publishes peace; that brings good news of good, that publishes yeshu`ah; that says unto Tsiyon, Your ELOHIYM reigns! Your watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when YAHAWAH shall bring again Tsiyon. Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Yerushalayim: for YAHAWAH has comforted his people, he has redeemed Yerushalayim. YAHAWAH has made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the yeshu`ah of our ELOHIYM. Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of YAHAWAH. For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for YAHAWAH will go before you; and the ELOHAI of Yashar'el will be your rearward.
... YESHA'YAHU (ISAIAH) 52:3-12
Doubtless you are our Father, though Avraham be ignorant of us, and Yashar'el acknowledge us not: you, O YAHAWAH, are our Father, our Redeemer; your name is from everlasting.
... YESHA'YAHU (ISAIAH) 63:16
Therefore, behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know my hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is YAHAWAH.
... YIRMEYAHU (JEREMIAH) 16:21
But this shall be the covenant that I will cut with the house of Yashar'el; After those days, says YAHAWAH, I will put my Torah in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their ELOHIYM, and they shall be my people.
... YIRMEYAHU (JEREMIAH) 31:33
And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know YAHAWAH: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, says YAHAWAH: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Thus says YAHAWAH, which gives the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divides the sea when the waves thereof roar; YAHAWAH TSEVA'OTH is his name
... YIRMEYAHU (JEREMIAH) 31:34-35
And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am YAHAWAH.
... YECHEZQ'EL (EZEKIEL) 36:11
And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am YAHAWAH, saith Adonai YAHAWAH, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.
... YECHEZQ'EL (EZEKIEL) 36:23
Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I YAHAWAH build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I YAHAWAH have spoken it, and I will do it.
... YECHEZQ'EL (EZEKIEL) 36:36
As the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men: and they shall know that I am YAHAWAH.
... YECHEZQ'EL (EZEKIEL) 36:38
And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am YAHAWAH.
... YECHEZQ'EL (EZEKIEL) 37:6
And ye shall know that I am YAHAWAH, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,
... YECHEZQ'EL (EZEKIEL) 37:13
And shall put my RUACH in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I YAHAWAH have spoken it, and performed it, says YAHAWAH.
... YECHEZQ'EL (EZEKIEL) 37:14
And the heathen shall know that I YAHAWAH do sanctify Yashar'el, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them forevermore.
... YECHEZQ'EL (EZEKIEL) 37:28
And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Yashar'el, and that I am YAHAWAH ELOHAYKEM, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.
... YO'EL (JOEL) 2:27
It is he that builds his stories in the heavens, and has founded his troop in the earth; he that calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out upon the face of the earth: YAHAWAH is his name.
... AMOC (AMOS) 9:6
For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of YAHAWAH, to serve him with one consent.

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of YAHAWAH shall be saved.
... MA'ASIYM (ACTS) 2:21
For there is no difference between the Yahudiy and the Yavaniy: for the same YAHAWAH over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of YAHAWAH shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
... ROMAIYM (ROMANS) 10:12-14
I am the א (Aleph) and the ת (Tav), the beginning and the ending, says YAHAWAH ELOHIYM, which is, and which was, and which is to come, YAHAWAH TSEVA'OTH.
... CHIZAYON (REVELATION) 1:8
===============================
Now therefore, what have I here, says YAHAWAH, that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them make them to howl, says YAHAWAH; and my name continually every day is blasphemed. Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that speaks: behold, it is I.
... YESHA'YAHU (ISAIAH) 52:5-6
Am I ELOHAI at hand, says YAHAWAH, and not ELOHAI afar off? Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? says YAHAWAH. Do not I fill the heavens and the earth? says YAHAWAH.

The following is from David Olinger regarding discussions on the Name of YAHAWAH:

On Calling God by His First Name
November 16, 2017 by Dan Olinger

"If the Bible is true, then none of our fears are legitimate, none of our frustrations are permanent, and none of our opposition is significant."
God has a lot of names.
And they’re significant, for two reasons: first, because unlike us, God has chosen his names for himself; and second, because he has chosen to reveal his character and works through them.
And so he has a lot of names, because there’s a lot to know about him.
Some of his names are simple and straightforward. Elohim (in the Old Testament) and Theos (in the New Testament) simply mean “God.” Adonai (OT) and Kurios (NT) simply mean “Lord.”
Some of them are more complicated. Yahweh Tsebaoth (OT) means “Lord of Hosts” or “Commander of Armies”; the name speaks of his ability to back up his plans and commands with a powerful heavenly host of battle-hardened troops—even though he’s omnipotent and doesn’t really need the help.
And that brings us to the name Yahweh, or more correctly YHWH, which we typically translate as “LORD.”
And that’s a shame. Let me explain why.
First, a little background.
Unlike the other names of God, which are titles or descriptions, YHWH is God’s personal name; in Western culture we would say that it’s his “first name.” And remarkably, God reveals that name to his people and invites them to use it when referring to him.
Imagine that. God invites his people to call him by his first name.
But of course, God is God, the Creator of heaven and earth; we may do whatever he invites us to do, but we may not treat him as common. He is holy; we treat him not just with respect, but with a respect unlike any other. And so he tells his people, “You must not take my name in vain” (Ex 20.7 ); that is, you may call me by my first name, but only respectfully. This relationship is not trivial, and it is not a joke.
When the Hebrew OT was written, scribes did not include vowels; they wrote just the consonants, and part of being literate was knowing the text well enough to know what the unwritten vowel sounds were. (That’s why it was—and still is—such a big deal for a Jewish boy to read aloud from the Torah, in public, when he became a man at bar mitzvah.)
At the same time, the Jews were very careful to keep all the commandments, and even to put protections in place to prevent themselves from violating a command accidentally. God had said not to take his name in vain; eager to please, the Jews thought they would safeguard against taking the name in vain by never taking it at all.
And so, when the public reader of Scripture came to the name YHWH, he would not pronounce it; he would read Adonai (Lord) instead. Centuries later—long after Christ’s death, in fact—when Jewish scribes called Masoretes added vowels to the OT text, to every occurrence of YHWH they added the vowels for Adonai as a reminder to the reader to say the latter, not the former. (And thus, to this day, we’re not sure how to pronounce the name—the name by which he invited us to call him.)
And then the word looked like “Yehowah.” Centuries later, when biblical scholarship passed through Germany, those scholars wrote that pronunciation as “Jehovah,” and a new name was created. (Interestingly, the name that the “Jehovah’s Witnesses” approve for God is in fact the one name that we know for sure is not actually a name for God (!).)
A thought. Do you like to hear your name? Of course you do. Often, in an introduction, your name is the only one you hear. What do you think God thought when his own people refused to speak his name? And all out of respect?
I wonder in what other ways do we choose to show our respect for God in ways that hurt him.
In another development, a group of Jewish scholars translated the Hebrew scriptures into Greek a couple of centuries before Christ. In a far-reaching decision, they chose to translate the Hebrew YHWH with the Greek kurios, “Lord”—even though they were already using that Greek word to translate Adonai—I suppose because the public reader would read “Adonai” whenever he saw YHWH anyway.
So now, we’ve replaced God’s first name with a title.
What does that do?
It distances us from the person.
Some people call me “Dan”—some few even call me “Danny.” (They would be my older sisters, in whose minds I am still an obnoxious little boy.) Others call me “Dr. Olinger.”
Which ones do you think I’m closer to?
God has asked us, his people, his sons and daughters, to call him by his first name. And we call him “LORD” instead. We hold him at arm’s length when he seeks an embrace.
How do you think he feels about that?
I’m not suggesting that we burn all the Bibles that have “LORD” in all caps. But we should at least remember that God has called us to an intimate relationship with him; he has invited us to come boldly and joyfully into his presence, as the little children came to Jesus (real name is YAHAWAHSHAH)***.
We should delight in that degree of loving, respectful intimacy as much as he does.

The issue: Making the Name of YAHAWAH null and void
... in other words, taking YAHAWAH's Name in vain The third commandment from the Ten Commandments specifically has to do with the Name of YHWH (יהוה) ... YAHAWAH ... and showing reverence to and for His Name: Exodus 20 vs 7: Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy GOD in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh His Name in vain. The restored verse actually reads like this: Exodus 20 vs 7: Thou shalt not take the name of YHWH (יהוה) your ELOHIM ... YAHAWAH ELOHAYKA ... in vain; for YHWH (יהוה) ... YAHAWAH ... will not hold him guiltless that taketh His Name (YAHAWAH's Name) in vain. The word “in vain” has the connotation “to make null and void” or “to bring to naught”. Dictionaries refer to the meanings of “emptiness, vanity, nothingness”. So ... In The Scriptures (Institute for Scripture Research, 2009) this commandment is translated as follows: Shemot/Exodus 20 vs 7: “You do not bring the Name of YHWH (יהוה) your ELOHIM ... YAHAWAH ELOHAYKA ... to naught, for YHWH (יהוה) ... YAHAWAH ... does not leave the one unpunished who brings His Name (YAHAWAH's Name) to naught. So now these questions come to mind: [1] In modern translations, has the Name of YAHAWAH, our Creator, when replaced with “LORD” or “Lord” not led to the fact that YAHAWAH's Name or YHWH (יהוה), the Tetragrammaton, was or has been brought to naught for many readers? [2] Is not a false impression created or a deceitful concealment evident concerning the Name of YHWH (יהוה) ... YAHAWAH ... when LORD is used for His Name in the KJV or the NIV or other translations? [3] Does it not make you wonder, now, who or what you have been praying to all these years and why the power of YAHAWAH's true Name is not truly made manifest today? [4] Why was YAHAWAH's Name replaced in the Bible?!! What purpose did the replacement of ABBA YAHAWAH's Name serve? Was it intentional & deliberately diabolical or just a misguided action?
[5] Also, in a roundabout way, what is the true name of YAHAWAH's Son? Especially since His Name is not Jesus. You can meditate on these questions. Especially since the Hebrew translation of lord is ba'al
So now ... one really does need to wonder ... in what other ways do we choose to show our respect for ABBA YAHAWAH ELOHAYNU that are, in reality, ways that actually hurt, disrespect or offend ABBA?!!
Shalom!
